Emergency Fire Drill Within the main administration building of the SOC.

Guided by "Hind sight alone is no wisdom" The loss prevention & environment protection dept. Planned to activate the emergency plan through gradual implementation, whereupon, a fire drill pertaining to the evacuation plan had been exercised within the main building of the company district, located in area one.

The imaginary fire drill scenario was built on the assumption that, the fire took place as a result of a short circuit within one of the top floor offices, causing smoke & fumes to be widely spreaded all over the building, via ingress into the channels & conductors of the A/C units, as well as the suspended ceilings held therein, resulting in one causality.

The scenario was carried out in a praiseworthy manner as the building had entirely been evacuated, whereas rescue missions were taken perceivably as planned.

It should be noted however that, such plan activation to inure employees to difficulties and/ or mishaps is unprecedented & the first of its type.   Yet, it had proved to be successful by all measures due to the degree of understanding expressed by the employees who sought their way through means of egress & being gathered in the designated areas, centered in the vicinity of The main administration building.

The fire drill had also fairly graded first class performance for efforts  shown by the dept. crews who dedicatedly participated & dealt with the incident experienced in this particular occasion.
