A meeting between Drilling & Petroleum Engineering Department and Schlumberger (well services) was held on Wednesday, April 21st, at the area II conference room.The meeting was chaired by Manager, Drilling & Petroleum Engineering Department, and attended by The Operation Manager of Schlumberger (well services) with staff members from The Drilling Department and Schlumberger.Drilling Department Manager opened the meeting highlighting some of the concerns related to the Well’s services provided by Schlumberger during the last year & the first quarter of the current year,  requesting  more efforts from Schlumberger to improve their service quality to SOC.Then Schlumberger conducted a presentation with a statistical information on the jobs performed by Schlumberger on SOC’s different oil & gas fields including cementing, Stimulation, coiled tubing services …etc. Various areas of concern were highlighted and discussed during the presentation: miscommunication, delay in mobilization, high services prices.
